Are the WHV all electronic now? Do we get a stamp or label in the passport or not? How wil employers know if you have a visa or not if it is electronic like I heard they are?

I think most people can now apply online for an Australian WHV (if this is what you are asking about - not sure about NZ WHV's, or any others). The details of it will be on the computer that the Immigration Officer uses on entry to Australia.

If granted, I belive the procedure is the following: at Sydney the immigration officer will direct you to where you get the visa label put into your passport (in the airport). At other airports you will need to visit the local DIMIA office in the city to get the visa label in the passport.

I've just checked at the DIMIA website - take a look at this page.
