Hey everyone first time using this site.

Leaving U.S. with a buddy come Jan. Starting in El Salvador and ending in Brazil. What are the spots, besides the most popular, that I shouldn't miss?
Which ones are over hyped and time should be spent else where?

There are just two countries I would like to tell you not to miss. Honduras and Ecuador. Both amazing countries with a huge biodiversity and certainly not overly visited.

For info on interesting places to go in Ecuador I recommend going to Moving Ecuador. A website about alternative travel and volunteering in Ecuador.

Enjoy your trip!
