Hi,
So I'm a lone female Canadian (24) heading south in January and scared shitless (in a good way) of travelling by myself in Ecuador. I don't speak the language yet but I will be tutoring with a buddy of mine I went to Costa Rica with two years ago. I'm very excited at hitting the beach, finding some waves to try getting a better rush than snowboarding, work on the tan, try some Chilean wine only one country away, and please tell me they have down hill mountain biking in the Andes (I'm thinkin' they do, "Ahhhhhhhh", as this Honey screams alllllll the way down). I'm looking for some easy going people that don't mind a little burnt out working professional to join them that's only interested in eating as much seafood as she can and pulling the pickle out of her ass. Scary perverts please do not apply (especially after the last comment). I want to hit Quito for a week or head north to Otovalo (spelling?), then to Manta for 2-3 weeks, travel down to Quantival (ok so I don't have the guide book infront of me to spell these right) to try and adventure across to the Galapagos, then from there to Tena for Andes hiking. But sooo many detours before that. Also can anyone recommend a good spanish school, I speak spanish worse than I spell it.
