You will need to have visa when you enter both destination, Vietnam and Cambodia. You should apply for Vietnam visa before your arrival; the other can be obtained when you arrive at Cambodia.
From Ho Chi Minh city, you can travel further west to Chau Doc and then take a speed boat to Cambodia.

You do not need a visa for singaporean. All ASEAN nation members citizen are allow to travel within each other visa free for 30 days. So Singaporean do not need a visa in both vietnam and cambodia.
I think the train is non-existent in cambodia...the only way is by coach. you might want to check out this website http://www.seat61.com This site give a very gd guide on train travelling as well as alternative route to the country
Sometime it is better to relax and take a step back |
