Want to highly recommend The Rambutan in granada. It's really hard to find and up a high hill - which is hell if it's summer - and you won't find it in any guidebooks or at the local tourist office. This place seriously rocks though, without a doubt the best and most chilled out place I've ever stayed at. Definitely stay there if you're planning on visiting Granada - awesome city too by the way!!!

Cheers! James

i cannot agree with you more, James. This is where i ended up after Kabul in Barcelona back in December 2002. The most laid back backpacking-traveller type of hostel. But it's more of just someone's house you end up staying at, not a formal hostel at all.
If you go to Grenada, stay at the Rambutan.
And stay up to see the sun rise over the Sierra Nevada.
