Sorry for the repost, didn't mean to post the last one anon.
I'm taking next semester off and leaving for europe next semester, mid january to be exact. My plan is as follows, leave for london mid january, work there until the end of april... the UK is expensive so I figure earning pounds might be helpful to travel round and explore london. Anyways, after london, I'm going to do a 2 month blitz of the rest of europe, traveling and staying whereever interests me. Come July, I'm going to moscow and taking the trans-siberian railway to Beijing. I hope to explore china, south korea and japan (possibly) for a month. Then fly to Vancouver and hitch-hike back home to Toronto. Any thoughts? I plan to go alone.
I'll have saved about $6000 Canadian and have my flight, and possibly eurorail pass covered.
I guess I'm looking for suggestions, input etc.
Anyone got a ball-park totaly for europe might cost? what the whole trip might run for? Is it worth working my way around the the UK? I expect to cover costs, if not perhaps, even make a little, like 300p... If I'm staying in the east-end of london, is it possible to find dorms/hostels/shares or whatever for the fabeled 50p a week?
I figured about 20-50 euros a day would do me, although I'm pretty thrifty so I never know if thats accurate IE eating at churches, living off lentils, rice, potatos... I'm there mostly to explore the art scene and write...
anywho thought someone here might be off some help...
thanks in advance
