Hi all,
I was thinking of doing a backpacking trip to Ireland for 10 days at the end of March/beginning of April. Does anyone have any advice about this, especially concerning the weather? I figured that it would rain no matter what time of year I went, and I mostly want to avoid touristy crowds. However, just wanted to double check with those of you who may have more experience in this area.
Also, does anyone have advice on what to see/what not to bother with? Thanks a bunch!
Natalie

Sorry. I disagree with Annonymous. That person should have the guts to register and sign in using their own name. Christopher is my real name. I have lived in the north of Ireland for most of my 67 years. It is a beautiful place. People throughout the country are both friendly and helpful. If you want to see one of the greatest scenes in the world stay a couple of nights at Whitepark Bay Hostel. On a good day you can see the Scottish coast. Incidentally there is no more danger in the north of Ireland than in any other part of the world.
