Gday all,

I'm a muso who is missing playing with others. While I am traveling however, it I can't find a band for the short time I am in each city. So I came up with an interesting idea I want to try on my travels through Germany next month.

My idea is this: meet with a group of strangers (locals or fellow travelers) outside a famous landmark in Berlin for an improvised musical performance (maybe even a parade or mini-festival?). The only rule is that you wear a tie. You can play anything that makes any noise at all (two stones banged together if that's all you have), so all you pianists who don't have your favorite Steinway stashed in your pack have no excuse.

My problem is that I don't know anybody in Berlin. Is anybody here interested, know somebody who might be interested, or know a place where I could find people who would be interested in such a project?

I will be in Germany between the 15th September to 5th of October and plan to be in Berlin after about 30th September. After I get a few takers, we can decide on a time and place.

Cheers,

Chris
