Hi Diana,
Switzerland is an expensive, but stunning country. The easiest way to get around is by train, and if you don't have a railpass (like eurail or interrail), there are several possibilities for national day or week passes which might save you a load of cash on transportation, so be sure to check those out.
From my own experiences, I dug the nature the most of the country, so be sure to ascend on a few Alps and go off the beaten track, see as much of nature as you can. It's absolutely beautiful to be on the top of world, the views are great.
City wise, I visited Bern, Lucerne and Zurich, of which I personally liked Lucerne best. It has an authentic Swiss feeling to it and a beautiful setting on the Lucerne lake. For the rest I heard Interlaken is pretty good to visit. Didn't go there myself though.

I will definatly look into those cities, and try to ascend some Alps. Ive only really seen the Rockies, and i loved them, so Im excited to go see the Alps. I will definatly take in your opinon because you have some more expierance than I do, so you probly know more.
Thanks again
