I am trying to figure out where I want to go for my 30 day-2 month trip to Europe. This is the easy part....Everywhere. The problem is where can I afford and what do I have time for.
The list of where I want to go is as follows:
London (a must as we land here)
Paris
Bordeaux
Barcelona
Marseille
Monaco
Lyon
Geneva
Bern
Zurich
Milan
Venice
Vienna
Prague
Munich
Stuttgart
Frankfurt
Cologne
Berlin
Hamburg
Amsterdam
Brussels
As I said I want to see everything. This list is in semi-clockwise order. (The order in which I will be traveling) I know this is an enormous list and that what I need help with. What should I cut out? How long should I plan on staying at each place? Please help!
Also, how much time would be appropriate for each location?

I'd reccommend you visiting Bulgaria as well, but instead of the cities, the smaller towns and resorts [URL snipped by admin]

Honestly, Europe (no offense to the Europeans on this forum) is over rated. It's really expensive (no matter where you go, unless you go to non-Euro zone countries) so there is not a whole lot of value.
Mathematically, to even make that schedule worth it, you would need 63 days. That assumes spending at least 2 nights in each city, so that gives you 1 full day of sightseeing. However, with that kind of itinerary, you're going to be spending a ton of time with your head berried in train schedules and a lot of time on trains. Also, what a lot of people fail to realize is, just how exhausting this kind of travel can be. I can guarantee that after about 3 weeks, you are going to want to park-it somewhere for 4-5 nights and take a breather.
You seem to have a disproportionate amount of German cities on the list. Any particular reason? I think you could probably dump a few of those.
You can do the whirlwind tour, but what I enjoyed more was picking one or 2 countries and spending a lot of time in each. I recently did 2 months in Greece and 2 months in Italy. I am glad because you really get a much better experience than just hitting a few major cities and then moving on.
Also, I notice you don't have Rome on the list. Rome is great city (of all the capital cities I have been to, Rome is one of my favorites).
