I'm leaving my home in northern Sweden in september for the road. I will carry a backpack with a sleeping bag, a tarp, clothes. I want to hitch-hike, hike, and do all kinds of stuff in all kinds of nice places.

If anyone has any suggestions of where to go and what to do I would be really glad to hear. I'm really aching to travel right now and it would be great if anyone could tell me of cool/odd/nice places to go/see/stay.

Thank you!
Henrik

Well I went to central europe on a school trip last autumn. Prague was amazing, and the highlight of the trip. We also visited Krakow in Poland, which was great too. Lovely architecture in all of the places we visited round there. We didn't get to spend very much time in each country, but driving through czechoslovakia it looked beautiful. The people also seemed very friendly.

I'd definitely recommend central europe, particularly prague. The languages seem tricky, though, lots of Zs and Ks…

Thanks Olivia!

Central Europe seems nice, my parents went to Prague a couple of years ago, and it seemed really beautiful on their photos.
And I like learning languages, I've studied some Russian, so I should be able to handle some strange pronounciation at least :)
