Interrail serious help needed!!

If anyone has done interrailing in italy , please advise a route through italy. Arrive in Rome Aug4 was thinking of Florence cinqueterre then Venice. I am unsure of where to go afterwards i dont fly out of Berlin till Sep 1st. Was either going to go to Vienna from Venice , or try to get a ferry to some beach in Croatia? Any ideas appreciated!!
