Violn Member Australia	# Posted: 27 Oct 2006 04:25:56 Backpackin' & Angeling! Well I'm a french girl in Sydney! Backpacker and working holiday maker, here fore 1 year! I'm here since september 21st, and I enjoy it everyday! Sydney really is a great city and the room I found is going well, I feel like at home already! But the best thing is the lovely and so funny job I do: I'm an angel! So many advantages in one and only job: it permits to have fun while working, to meet very lovely co-workers, to improve english speaking as we chat with people during each massage we give, to get about the city as we never work at the same place: each week is different from the last one, and to save money to travel around Australia from town to town, work here and there when necessary and see all its beautiful spots, what would surely takes a lifetime, but I have a rather large schedule! This job was made for travellers! OK there are tonnes of jobs advertised online and everywhere else. But employers don't want to employ people who are on our type of visa, because we can only work for 6 months for any one employer before we have to change jobs and most employers want someone for longer than that. At 3 minute angels managers agree to employ you for a short time as long as you enjoy massaging and everything that this job imply. And you can have time to get a second job if you want. Angeling is a soooo flexible job: the only compulsory shift is on friday night, otherwise it's up to you! I've chosen to work everyday because I'm available now, and I will stop angeling very soon for a little while: it's time for me to travel, see countryside, nice beaches and wild animals... But once I would come back in Sydney I could get back to angeling immediatly, that's so cool! Yeah I'm having a great time here. And I never run out of ideas for what to do: there are so many nice things to see + that funny job, what should I expect more that that? The boredom never kicks in!!
