emily Member United Kingdom (Great Britain)	# Posted: 24 Feb 2007 19:19:31 Yeah, as long as you're careful, most of Thailand is great. Be VERY careful at the full moon party if you go. Only take what you need for the night, ie, just some cash. Make sure all your valuables are locked away, as rooms also get broken into. Some people stay on Koh Samui or Koh Tao and take a boat over with just some cash for the night. I had a bag stolen which had my passport and bank cards in it and it caused a lot of problems sorting it out. The full moon party is great, and definately worth going to, but watch your drinks and don't take anything you can't afford to loose. I loved diving on koh Tao.
