ok need allround backpackin help , as this is out 1st time doin it to thialand, planning on goin to singers after tht and if we got enough money aussie and back home to the uk , jus want some tips highs and lows on goin thialand. as i have heard its a scary place for BP's
so ny help will do i am doin research on the place but its not easy so ny one with recent experience plz drop me a line ( mainly on costs and culture ) thanx ppl hope to speak to u soon

spent 6 weeks in thailand was great. aslong as you are not stupid you will be fine, had no problems at all. go to ko samet, ko phi phi is awesome!! and def get to a full moon party on ko phanghn

Yeah, as long as you're careful, most of Thailand is great. Be VERY careful at the full moon party if you go. Only take what you need for the night, ie, just some cash. Make sure all your valuables are locked away, as rooms also get broken into. Some people stay on Koh Samui or Koh Tao and take a boat over with just some cash for the night. I had a bag stolen which had my passport and bank cards in it and it caused a lot of problems sorting it out. The full moon party is great, and definately worth going to, but watch your drinks and don't take anything you can't afford to loose. I loved diving on koh Tao.
