I Can't adjust my Haglofs backpack...

I recently aquired a Haglofs sec 75L backpack, which I'm very happy with. However I cannot work out how the back system can be adjusted. All I can see is a flat metal box fixed to two plastic runners. Presumably this should slide up and down the runners, but I can't work out how to do this (I don't want to force it). I've tried and failed to find information from the company and elsewhere on the internet. Hope you can help me...
