how do you roll a tight sleeping bag?

I have a really nice backpack (a gregory deva 60 to be exact). I am supposed to pack my sleeping bag in the bottom part of my pack. It has its own section that it should be packed in. My sleeping bag is a North Face Goliath and I can't seem to get my sleeping bag rolled up tightly enough to fit into this section of my backpack. I am super frustrated. I need to get my sleepingbag tucked back to the size of when it was new... is this even possible?
