I'm starting my travels in Thailand then moving on to Oz which should be fairly warm.

After we go to NZ where we are hoping to ski. Is the price of buying clothing (eg shoes we'll only have flip flops, and trousers) reasonable or do we carry our ski jacket around with us.

Thanks

Hi Cher,

Considering you're from England (with one of the strongest currencies in the world) I suspect you'll find prices in Oz & NZ quite reasonable. I wouldn't recommend carrying your ski jacket around with you as in warm countries it's basically just bulky 'dead weight', but of course that decision is yours to make. Apart from buying a jacket in Oz or NZ, you could also consider having friends/family mail you the jacket to a temporary address Down Under.
