sarafaith Member San Francisco	# Posted: 15 Aug 2009 00:05:04 I tend to under-pack which gets really annoying so this time I wanna pack just the right amount. I'm going to Australia for 5 weeks. I'll be staying in hostels and doing some bush walking here and there. I wouldn't be camping. I just bought a great backpack that also rolls from REI however it's about 5 inches too big to be a carry on, according to United's rules about carry ons. I'm wondering if I should downgrade to a rolling backpack that can fit as a carry on. What do you guys think?
