Hi,

Just bought a water bladder for my backpack while cycling. I filled up the bladder and saw the water fill the hose and the nozzle (set to open), but damned if I can't get any water into my mouth. There are some air pockets, but there is water in the nozzle. i tried setting the bladder on top of a door and letting the hose dangle so the water could flow down... no good. What am i doing wrong?

i got the same problem when i first got a water bladder. the secret is you need to bite the nozzle a bit when doing the sipping action. there is some sort of valve in the nozzle. if you dont bite, you wont get a drop even though you hurt your tongue sipping the tube.

some tips in cleaning the bladder:http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/695265/how_to_clean_a_waterbladder.html
