I'm joining my cousin and have missed most of Thailand, Vietnam etc but will still be in Malaysia and some of Thailand before going off to Oz, NZ then Fiji and onto South America... Was wondering what sleeping bag to purchase? I dont want to spend a fortune on one but am prepared to spend a bit if its worth it on certain models as this is obviously a vital part of travel gear... I was wondering if you could get one that had some kind of insect net accross the part of the bag that is exposed (The kind of visor part). Please excuse my naivity as I've never been travelling before and wanted some experienced help. Hope your all well

iain Member United Kingdom (Great Britain)	# Posted: 14 Mar 2009 17:22:29 all those destinations come across as fairly hot nut su kow, so i wouldnt be to worried about buying an excpencive sleeping bag, because you pay more money for a warmer sleeping bag. you havent really mentioned where your sleeping, hostels or camping? but none the less i would reccomend this sleeping bag to you. http://sports.ciao.co.uk/Snugpak_Code_Green_Jungle_Sleeping_bag_with_b uilt_in_Mosquito_Net__6667093 its a jungle sleeping bag. its light weight and it has a built in mosquito net. although ive never slept in a sleeping bag with a built in net but i have slept in a jungle sleeping bag. people some times buy two of them because there light and if needs be will sleep in both if it gets nippy at night. i havent got one
