I know theirs a couple other threads about this but I decided to start my own.
I had planned on going with a long time child-hood friend but he recently bailed out. I'm still going to go alone but I would like some company and hopefully some friends.
I've never done any traveling aside from road trips so this will be a huge leap. I'm not on a budget but I want to live the cheapest way possible, staying in hostels, etc.
Anyways I'm 19 year old Canadian male. I havn't bought a ticket yet as I am waiting for a backpacking partner before I do any plans but hopefully sometime within this week.
If you would like to experience northern Europe I would recommend Norway as a destination. I backpacked Scandinavia last summer and it was really amazing. Scandinavia can be a bit more expensive than the other countries when it comes to eating out. Thats why we stayed at hostels, you can make your own food and be social I wanted to see some off the beautiful sights of Norway so I traveled with a company called Nordic Experience. Along with 6 others we traveled around and saw the fjords, glaciers, mountains, waterfalls and camped outside. A guide who drove us around for 4 days and everything was included. I had so much fun That is something I would recommend if you want to experience Europe and have some fun!
