I've been hitch-hiking around europe a lot, but since I came and settled (against my will) in UK 4 years ago, I didn't have a chance to hitch and it's been driving me crazy. I cannot take it anymore and want to get out of this restraining life as soon as possible. At least for a little while - as my studies start in mid sept... I'm on tight budget so would be looking forward to work as well. I would prefer a female companion. So if you have similar objectives, write me!

I'm also a 24 year old female looking for adventure away from the work-a-day life that's dragging me down these days! I live in Washington, DC but have booked a flight on May 21 to Dublin, Ireland. I hope to travel for 3-6 months around western Europe and I'm working on finding some volunteer (and job if at all possible!) opportunities to get into while I'm over there.
