paul Member	# Posted: 5 Jan 2006 07:31:57 Hey there I did the same came to Sydney over a year ago from a small town in Ireland and knew no one but made some new friends and ended up by pure chance living in a street with no less than 12 people from my home town, Australia.......big country Sydney......big town, The world!!.....not as big as you might think. Anyway got a good job and have a 4 year work visa. Me and a friend are flying to Cairns 18th Jan and have hired a camper van for 3 weeks driving down the east coast doing all the stops we might be looking for a third travel buddy since its a 3 berth van.
