Hello,
I'm new to this site. My friend just baled on me for a trip to Memphis (one night) then to Clarksdale, MS (the crossroads) and Greenville for the Mississippi Blues and Heritage Festival in Sept. Is there anybody out there who would be interested in accompanying me or meeting me on the way? I already have reservations that split in half would run only $150-$180 for the entire trip. This is my dream to explore the Delta country and really take in the sounds and smells of this area. I'm a real normal person just dont have a lot of friends who are into exploring. Thanks to any ideas or suggestions anyone can give me! I would love to be able to travel fulltime.
Thanks,
Lynn

Hello
I am going to see the cross roads. Me and a friend of mine are going to ride to clarksdale some time in early may. When i say ride i mean that we are going to ride our bikes. We bothe have harleys and i believe this is the only way to go . Tell me what you think.

Hello Wayne,
I know its almost a year later but, I ended up finding a companion for the trip. Clarksdale was awesome! Visiting the birthplace of the blues was just as I imagined it--awesome! I met Morgan Freeman and others on this terrific journey back in time.
I think you definitely have to go to Memphis then down Hwy 61 to Clarksdale! Hope you had fun in Clarksdale...let me know how it went.
