I am Gemma, 20 from Southampton, UK. I am landing in Sydney 7th Sept, staying there for a couple of months then traveling up the east coast. From there I will hopefully be flying to NZ then back to Sydney for new year! I may think about doing Perth, Melbourne also while I am there, I am not setting too much of a plan so its day by day! I will be in Sydney from 7th Sept for a couple of months then traveling up the east coast so will be passing through Brisbane, however will be back in Sydney for new year, so depending where you are at what time we could meet! How long are you going to be staying in Brisbane before you go to Sydney? Dancinkimmy, Again, will be passing through Brisbane November time so we will probably cross paths if you are still there then!? Stacey, When are you going to be doing Oz & NZ? and where abouts are you going to be going? I am going to be in NZ at some point in Dec but will be around Oz from Sept. xxx

Will arrive sometime in sep-oct 09 in sydney and am looking forward to seeing as much of australia as possible. I hope to start in sydney and make my way up to Queensland, NT and Perth. Victoria and Tasmania can also be considered if i still have enough money! FYI: I have never done backpacking before so if you guys are cool to have a newbie around, I am more than happy share an adventure together! I'm pretty easy going... love scuba diving...the great outdoors. Ok i shall end here cos it's beginning to sound like some single's add! Craig84 Member Lincolnshire	# Posted: 25 Jun 2009 21:44:51 Wow a lot of people arriving in OZ the same time as me I arrive on the 8th Sept from KL where I will spend a week (did it this way as fly with AirAsia cheapest airline by far but dont do stopover flights only singals so thought would do KL for a week. I arrive into Melbourne on the 8th staying till 21st then getting plane to Sydney and staying there from 22sept to 5oct (anybody on site gonna be in theses citys at the same time Im flying solo looking for travel buddys My plan is then to go fruit picking for 2-3 months in Victoria, NSW if can afford it Thailand for Christmas, Boxing day defo Sydney for New Years then Canberra for a week then up the gold coast Brisbain, Cains etc, up to Darwin roadtrip or flight to Alice springs aires rock, across to perth and then adelaide so a full circle of OZ in a year with working when money gets low anybody want to join me

I will start my journey by radiating outward from South Australia (Melbourne first), then New South Wales, and the rest of territory in Oz.
