I am another of those burned out humans, tired of the filing cabinets and Flourescent Lights....Time to go on walkabout... Wondering a few things and this one came to mind ....I am 31 years old...I see a lot of mentions of the "youth Hostel"...Do most of these Hostels not allow people my age? I've saved a bit, and can travel for the rest of my life if I can hang in these affordable places... Can anyone advise? Now where to start.....

Regarding youth hostels: you're as old as you feel! :) And don't worry, just about every "youth" hostel allows people of all ages. There are a few around that have an age limit of 30 too, though. But in general, I'm convinced you won't have any problems at all. What are your ideas on your trip's itinerary?
