Hello everyone (:
I'm Huiying from Singapore, and am here because I'm really interested in the backpackers' world - how you guys think and perceive your travels and view of the world etc etc If I had the means I would travel free and easy around the world someday and know people from all walks of life! I'm currently doing a Tourist Behaviour and Research project and I'm keen to know more about the tourism market of backpackers. Its something really interesting and new. I would love to ask some questions if anyone of you would be kind enough to chat with me as I would want to know more about this? Thanks loads!
Drop me an email, will you? (:

Hi everyone, My name is Agustin, I am 24, from Buenso Aires Argentina.
I went backpacking into some provinces of my country(Tucuman, Salta, Jujuy, Entre rios) and now I wanna backpack in other exotic place...
I was thinking that bali could be a great destination so... here I am looking for people who want to travel with me, i like active, fun, and adventures people, my friends don t like the idea of been out, living without all the comodities, and sleeping in anywhere, I love that... so here i am... trying to meet great peope, diferent cultures... Fun people, male or female...( I really don t care the age, all we need is atitud for ths kind of experience) for make a trip, at the begining into bali.. and the will see... perhaps we can travel around many places.. who knows rigth?...,
Contact me on facebool and will see what happend. My idea is to star on dicember 2008, but we can arrange that.
by the way I speak spanish, english, italian and some portugues...

Hey, Im new to the forum, I'm Joe, and Im new to backpacking. My girlfriend just got me into it. Said it was a great stress releaver. I joined this forum because now I find myself constantly on the road, and backpacking travel suggestions are always good. I’m not an excellent packer and tend to try to take everything but the kitchen sink with me – lol! You’d think I’d learned. I’ve seen some very helpful tips and just had one to add. My friend gave me a Foldtuk for my birthday, and it has been so convenient to take on the go. To get an idea, see this (www.foldtuk.com). It collapses into my luggage and gives me more options to eat on the road. I hope that my little suggestion can help y’all… have a great day!

Hi guys,
my name is Amy and I am 24 and living in Cardiff at the mo (though I will be moving in with my parents in York in a few months to save money for this huge journey I'm planning on embarking on!).
Hopefully me and my boyfriend will be travelling the world by train! If anyone has done this or looked into this (or generally has any pearls of wisdom) let me know!
The journey is still very much in the early stages of planning but I'm looking forward to spending the next year planning it.
Nice to meet you all,
Amy xxx

Hi!
II’m an Italian girl from Milan and I'm new on this forum!. I’m writing my graduation thesis on the backpacker tourism and I’m very interested to know your opinion about this way of travel!
It’s not important if your answers will be short or if you will reply only to one of them, I’m interested in your opinion!!
For example:
• -What do you like of travel like a backpacker/independent traveller?
• -Do you like to stay in the youth hostels? Would you have any more services?
• -What type of transport do you use during your travels?
• -Travel like a backpacker tourist is for you advantageous only on the economic side or are you interested in knowing other traveller and local people?
• -Which travel have you done as a backpacker tourist?
• -How old are you? Where do you live? What’s your name?
If you want to let your e-mail here we can keep in touch!
My e-mail: soniadipi@alice.it
soniadipi@hotmail.it
I’m waiting for a lot of answers!! Thank you!
