he every me and my girl friend have been told about a company called STA travel they do round the world tickets.
We havent been backpacking before so need alot of advise.
Has any1 done a round the world ticket if so wot did u think?how much did u take spending money?Wot countries did you visit?

There's a few other places that do RTW tickets too that you might want to look into if you haven't already - travelbag.co.uk (which now incorporates Bridge The World) is one, youthtravel.com is one I found recently, and there will be others too, just take a look at various travel agent websites.

cheers mate, me and the girlfriend had a meeting wiv sta travel last month ,got some ideas, price, trips ect.. been quated 2 prices 1st was £1200 for basic trip south africa-thialand-singerpoor-vietnam-oz-nz-figi-america

2nd was £1800 and u get a few internal flights for america and oz.

ill try the places uve sed cheers.

Also try direct, with Virgin Atlantic and Qantas. Different places will be able to offer slightly different deals at different prices - remember cheaper isn't necessarily better if it misses out places you definitely want to go to. Work out where you definitely would like to go, and other places you would like to but could miss out if necessary.

I just got back from a trip i booked with STA, stay away from their travel insurance, its one of the most expensive around!

also did u do any of there tours, were thinking of doing one for south africa, did they offer u the greyhound coach pass for oz did u get it.
